Training on CLC Management held at Nareshwor VDC, Gorkha

Educational Resource and Development Center Nepal, Gorkha is implementing "Community Learning Center for Changing Livelihood (CHELI)" project in 27 CLCs of Gorkha District. According to the status of the CLCs, they are categorized into 4 categories i.e. active, moderate, weak and severely weak. Out of them, only five CLCs are active and 8 CLCs are moderate. Remaining 15 CLCs are weaker in CLC management and service delivery. Thus, ERDCN organized CLC management training for those weaker CLCs.  Main goal of the training is to make strong management system in target CLCs.

Objectives of the training:

- To make participants clear on the concept of CLC and its importance in community

- To orient CLCs Executive Members on their roles and responsibilities

- To upgrade the knowledge of CLC management committee and stakeholders on CLC

- Make CLC members known on the global scenario of CLC
